The documentation on this page is incomplete, obsolete, or otherwise in need of a thorough review. The current content may provide a good starting point for this, but do not rely on its accuracy when using it to design content.

-
- Integer 0: the mode in which chargen was started, either 0 ("create") or 1 ("levelup").
- Object 0: The creature going through character generation.
Usage
case EVENT_TYPE_CHARGEN_START:
{
int nMode = GetEventInteger(ev, 0); // the mode in which chargen was started, either 0 ("create") or 1 ("levelup").
object oCreature = GetEventObject(ev, 0); // The creature going through character generation.
// insert event-handling code here
break;
}
{
int nMode = GetEventInteger(ev, 0); // the mode in which chargen was started, either 0 ("create") or 1 ("levelup").
object oCreature = GetEventObject(ev, 0); // The creature going through character generation.
// insert event-handling code here
break;
}
A range of event constants (nEvent >= EVENT_TYPE_CHARGEN_START && nEvent <= EVENT_TYPE_CHARGEN_END) that occur during character generation.
sys_chargen_engine defines the constants CHARGEN_MODE_CREATE = 0 and CHARGEN_MODE_LEVELUP = 1, nMode's values are referred to in this manner in the default core character generation scripts.
