I was able to get the demo to work, however I can't seem to find the "Generate FaceFX" menu option. I am using the initial toolset release from today.--ViresDroid 23:52, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

I've added links to screenshots of the menus to make them easier to find. The screenshots are of an older version, ignore the "to network" options (they were used internally and were removed for the end user version of the toolset). BryanDerksen 00:47, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
Just wanted to stop by here to say I'm running into the same type of issue. It's as if your screenshot is from the "teacher's edition" of the toolset. Just to confirm, the version I downloaded and installed from Bioware today is v1.0.982.0. Falgoryn 02:43, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
I included a screenshot of what the toolset looks like for me (missing the Generate FaceFX option): see here --ViresDroid 03:00, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
We've never seen this bug before now, it's a strange one indeed. We'll be taking a look at it come Monday. BryanDerksen 18:43, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
Oh, and in case anyone was worried they might be missing out on something cool with that "post to network" feature that was removed for the end user version of the toolset, it wasn't anything really special. It just posted files directly into our Perforce repository instead of to the local filesystem. End users with a version-control system installed can probably accomplish the same result by adding their export directory to their version control system, checking out the files there before export, and then checking them in again afterward. These steps don't seem to work. There is no Generate FaceFX option in the menu, and when I get to the final step of Export without dependent resources the toolset progress bar fills up about halfway and then freezes. I'm going to let it run for a while to see what happens, but it doesn't look good. The last entry in the log was Exporter completed successfully for resource: effect_death_h.nss
